This lighting system is not compliant with the German StVZO and is therefore not approved for use on public roads in Germany. Please ensure that an additional, street-legal taillight is mounted on your bicycle at all times when riding in Germany
Hub compatibility: The kLite micro Charger is designed for standard dynamo hubs (≈1V per km/h output — the hubs we've tested and validated). It is not currently compatible with high-output hubs such as the SON 29S, which produce roughly double the voltage at the same speed. On these hubs the charger's input-protection stage can overheat during fast riding with no device connected. A high-voltage-compatible version is in development
